A new vision for GitHub — and a potential alternative: Gitdot.
Since GitHub has been experiencing significant stability issues lately, it’s refreshing to see a different approach: a clean minimalist design and a clear philosophy. Somehow it tries to be full alternative of sourcehut.org.
At the same time, the project still feels immature. The codebase looks somewhat sloppy, there’s little development history available, and many essential features are still missing.
I’ll be keeping an eye on how the project evolves.
